Been meaning to post about this place for a minute. Ciccia Osteria is tucked away in Barrio Logan and it's an absolute gem.
It's a cozy, family-run spot run by Chef Mario (Milan native) and his wife Francesca (from Turin) They legit rebuilt the place themselves after a fire, and you can feel the love in every corner.
The food is incredible. Handmade pastas, daily specials based on whatever fresh ingredients they find, and portions are generous without being stupid expensive. Chef Mario has a whole thing about not charging $30-40 for pasta and you can taste the quality in every bite.
The outdoor patio is gorgeous, great for a date night or catching up with friends. Service is warm and attentive. Also, they're a Michelin Bib Gourmand winner, meaning exceptional food at reasonable prices.
Fair warning: make a reservation. Place is small and fills up fast!
