I have a state medical marijuana card and thus have not purchased a firearm in years. I do have a current pistol permit (which I don’t use) that I acquired prior to my doctor’s recommendation. Due to current federal reforms reclassifying medical cannabis to Schedule III, is it possible for me to purchase a firearm now or do I need to wait for the revised Form 4473 to be rolled out? I’m specifically asking to get a Glock before the ban.

Will the federal rescheduling of medical cannabis to Schedule III allow a state card holder to join the CGAUX?
