Hi all - I saw a post of someone getting a great deal on some gems from Gem Rock Auctions, then proceeded to visit the site and make a gem purchase that I am now wondering if it is the same stone - it looks terrible in person, very dark - my phone camera makes it looks a lot lighter than it appears to my eyes.

I cannot unsee the giant long wood branch looking stick straight down the center vertically that I did not see in the photos or video posted. Is this “fracture” looking thing natural, if it is sapphire, or an artifact of being treated with dye or too much heat? Should I pursue a refund or return? I am disappointed.
