Going to the doctor tomorrow to get a prognosis for my nonunion lateral malleolus fracture, 2 months after the break. It’s a complicated story because I broke it abroad, but long story short I thought I was healed at 6 weeks and haven’t seen the doctor since week 2. It looks like I probably should have gotten surgery right out the gate and I’ll probably end up getting surgery on Wednesday.

It doesn’t hurt at all and I’m completely weight bearing without the boot.

Anyone else dealt with a non-union break? How long did it take to recover from surgery?
