first some photos of his beautiful phaneroplasmodium (i just think its neat, and to sort of get a reference for what im on about)

but i was taking a close look at his culture in the mulberry leaves and I believe its growing in 3D? its got small almost centimeter bridges that are THICK and calcified (Didymium Aquatile, forgot to mention that!) im assuming its growing throwing biofilm and bridging that way and not crossing the gap and then "pulling the line taught" but im gonna have to sit and watch what it does more often now!!!!!!

just thought i should post some of the better ones from my aquarium. im a REALLLL big fan of the photo of him shlurpin from the leaf because hes just got one huge vein 😹😹
