Sertraline and pregnancy

Heyo,

I don’t have plans of getting pregnant rn, but definitely hopeful in the future. I’m just wondering what people’s experience is on this med while pregnant and postpartum?
I’m on 150mg right now. I’m assuming the doc would dose down during pregnancy? I’ve also heard about the baby having withdrawals after birth. Would love to know about other’s experiences!

Heyo,
I have a doc appt this afternoon to address my meds and how they’re affecting my libido. I got married 2 weeks ago and have not been able to have an orgasm. I definitely have a sex drive, but am always on the edge and any stimulation just feels like torture bc I can’t ever get past it. My husband is incredibly patient and helpful. We have tried just about everything, including toys.

I have pretty severe OCD and I’m on 200mg of sertraline. My guess is that my doc will either try and lower my dose, or add wellbutrin.

Just looking for personal experience in this arena? Long term I’d prefer to be on less medication. But I also would love to be able to orgasm. I just am a bit hesitant to lower my sertraline dose right now because of withdrawals and lots of life change. I can’t find anything about long term affect of wellbutrin on the body. Or if it has any affect if I were to get unknowingly pregnant.

Can anyone speak to this?

**EDIT**

My doc is having me go down to 150mg of sertraline from 200mg starting tomorrow. I hope it doesn’t affect me super badly 🫠

Hey guys!
I have not been a cat owner since I was a kid. I recently got married, and my husband is moving in with me. He has a cat, but I am allergic to cats. I’ve always been mildly allergic. Not living with a cat for 10 year has caused the allergy to grow. I do LOVE cats and want this to work out.

I get itchy eyes upon contact with fur or things the cat has been on, and get hives or super irritated from scratches. Some dogs also affect me this way.

Tips and tricks for this? Has anyone had success in healing from this histamine affect? I have done acupuncture in the past (yes this can help in some cases) but it got too expensive. I’m also very holistic and love homeopathy and natural remedies.

Would love any advice!
