HR professionals in Belgium: is the market tough right now?
Hi everyone,
I’d really appreciate some honest advice.
I’m an experienced HR professional based in Belgium, with a background as HR Manager and in Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards. I’m currently looking for roles such as HR Director, HR Manager, or Comp & Ben Manager.
I’ve been going through multiple interview processes over the past months, but I keep facing rejections or no feedback at all. The market feels very competitive, especially in industry and pharma,chemicals etc…
For those working in HR or recruitment in Belgium:
- Is the market particularly tough right now for senior HR roles?
- Are there specific strategies, recruiters, or networks I should focus on?
- Any tips to better position myself?
