So my automatic transmission went out recently on my 05 Nissan 350z, had 2 shops quote me 3k for everything out the door but I went with a shop more local to me and I’ve been going to for a while. They quoted me 1900 on parts with the used transmission being 58k miles on it and a 1 year warranty. Everything else is great on the car and has 143k miles so I went ahead and went through with it on the down payment. The problem is I’m seeing people saying going the used transmission route is a lot more risky and could go out. I already paid for it so I guess I’m just seeing if I made the right call or not. Thanks
