If you didn’t read my post from last week, Last week I went to a Starbucks in Korea and it was my first ever time meeting the cashier. I talked a to him just for a minute, i asked him how he learned English and to guess where Im from. two hours later, he walked upstairs to find me studying and gave me this note and treat.

TODAY: Today I went back and i saw him again. i had another cashier at first, but when he saw me he smiled and waved and took over the other cashier. As i was checking out, he gave me another free item! a free mini cake! a few hours as he was leaving his shift, I didn’t see him bc i was studying but he looked over and tried to get my attention and waved goodbye as he left

details: Im chinese american, female, first time meeting the cashier (who is a korean guy) also i can't rly tell if he's j being friendly? also idk if im interested bc i can't rly see his face since he's always wearing a mask

I know yall are gonna be like oh don’t pay attention to his reposts or just block him but we’re on good terms , so i won’t do that, and i still love him and just wanna know anything about how he feels. for context, he broke up w me and it was rly hard for him. we dated for 3-4 months.

what do these reposts really mean, i wonder how he truly feels

2 repost: “lol i knew sumn was gonna fck up, life was going too good” (this was prob in reference to how when we first started dating he said everything was doing great in his life - schools going well, his friends, and meeting me. but now we’ve broken up and he’s stressed out w final exams)

3 repost (photo): he prob related bc basically he always invited me to shared notes he wrote (there’s a feature in apple where u can invite someone to ur notes) . he broke no contact by sharing a longgg note w me abt why he wanted to breakup. also during our breakup convo he’d share essays from notes abt his feelings, his hurt, etc . even when we were dating if we’d argue he’d share notes or if it was anniversary he’d write a cute note and send it to me or smth

4 repost: “a situationship breakup is so hard imagine a divorce” (we weren’t a situationship obviously but ig in general it means if a 3 or 4 month long relationship breakup is hard imagine a divorce)

I’m from America and am a pretty social person. i realized in korea that they’re usually more reserved, but I like to talk to employees a bit or just strangers. Today at Starbucks, I talked to the cashier and asked how the americano is, how he learned English, his English is good, and where he thought I was from. It was a pretty quick convo but 2 hrs later he walked upstairs to find me where I was studying and gave me this free snack and note. Is this common? or why did he do it lol?

*edit: also my convo with him was like a minute long. and it was my first time meeting him. also i didn't tip. also im chinese american (both my parents are chinese but i was born/raised in us) and a girl
