The Threefold Requiem Might Be My Favorite SKULLPANDA Yet

As a HUGE SKULLPANDA collector, I can honestly say The Threefold Requiem might be my favorite release yet.

There’s something about this piece that feels different from the usual “cute designer toy” aesthetic. The darker atmosphere, the mournful expression, the floral details, the almost funeral-like elegance it feels more like a piece of art than just another figure.

The design has this haunting emotional weight to it. Almost like grief, beauty, and fragility all frozen into one character. I also love how theatrical it looks on display. It immediately becomes the centerpiece of a collection.

A lot of SKULLPANDA figures are beautiful, but Threefold Requiem feels unforgettable.

Curious where this one ranks for other collectors?

I just received my Amid Flowers plush doll and I have mixed feelings about her. I’m a HUGE SkullPanda fan, so I was really excited for this release. She arrived in a surprisingly large and beautiful box compared to the usual SkullPanda packaging, which honestly made the unboxing feel special.

But after taking her out, a few things started bothering me.

First, her head seems slightly tilted forward, almost like she’s constantly looking down. I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but it makes her posture feel awkward to me. I also don’t love the outfit design. I think she’s adorable overall, but the wardrobe feels unfinished for the price point. I really wish they had added matching bloomers, shorts, or pants underneath the dress because she looks oddly bare. The dress itself is also very short and keeps shifting to the side or riding up.

The hood/scarf concept is cute in theory, but I don’t understand why the back of the head is left exposed. I feel like it would’ve looked much cleaner and more cohesive if the hood fully covered the back. Right now it almost feels incomplete from certain angles.

Don’t get me wrong her face is absolutely precious and there are details I genuinely love. The little watering can accessory is adorable and the overall color palette is beautiful. But for the price, I expected a bit more refinement and polish.

I still think she’s cute, but I can’t help feeling like she had the potential to be AMAZING with a few design changes.

What do you all think?
Do you like her, or do you feel the same way?
