Is this normal? I bought a pair of Hwahong carving tools (U1 and V1, both their tiniest for detailing). I noticed the v gouge has one side longer than the other side as seen on pic#1. I never noticed this before. So I got my mikisyo power grip and noticed the same thing (pic#2).
Another “is this normal” question, is my u-gouge supposed to be slanted (pic#3)?
I read that hwahong has decent brayers and figured their carving tools shouldn’t be too bad, albeit being cheap. Still saving up for pfeil tools though!
They both cut well, btw.
Hi, I feel like this is a motor issue, but I just want to make sure before ordering a part. When I pull the trigger, it gives off that weird squeaky sound and then won't respond anymore. The internal filter/foam also disintegrated. Anyone had a similar issue before?
I sometimes find it very hard to come up or decide on my designs. Which one do you guys prefer or do you have any suggestion on how to make my print better? First photo is my test print, and the rest are some ideas I’m thinking of adding. Plain black ink seems just a little lacking for me.
