I want to get TDN 3 on the exam, but I really don’t understand the scoring system. About how many correct answers out of 30 would I need in the reading and listening sections to pass with TDN 3?
Also, are the writing (SA) and speaking (MA) sections graded very strictly in the digital TestDaF? In the paper-based TestDaF, the writing section feels more forgiving, and getting TDN 3 there doesn’t seem extremely difficult. The same goes for speaking — if you use good Redemittel and can communicate reasonably well, TDN 3 is usually achievable.
But in the digital TestDaF, it seems like SA and MA might be much more important. How do you think the scoring works overall? For TDN 3, roughly how many correct answers are needed in Lesen and Hören?
