Does anyone have (or know where to find) a list of all the plants (mainly flowers and bushes) mentioned in the series? For example in TEotW there are morningstars, love knots and I don’t remember what else.
Wow. Just wow. The sheer amount of foreshadowing is insane. I enjoyed it so much more on a reread.
I remember that the first time I read it, I thought it was just okay—maybe a bit boring, but with an interesting world and magic system (and not very likable characters).
But now I’m completely in love. In love with the slow moments I once found dull, in love with the Easter eggs, the clues, the foreshadowing. In my first read I didn’t like Nynaeve, now I find her so endearing because I understand her motivations. I loved paying attention to the subtleties—what’s said and what isn’t. Noticing when Rand unconsciously uses the Power: that chill or tingling, followed by something happening right after.
The first time, it took me almost a month to finish. This time, I devoured it in a week.
I would love to know your favorite piece of foreshadowing that you found on a re-read of TEotW!
Needless to say, I’ll be rereading the rest of the series. I can’t wait.
I’ve finished the series a while ago and I’m re-reading it. Can someone please remind me under which circumstances and in what book Rand finds “the song”? I can’t remember a thing about it. Thanks!
