What do you think of buying this bike for light touring?

So I've been riding bicycles a lot for commuting, but never for touring. Now I want to go on multi-day trips and thinking of getting a bicycle. I found one that seems to match what I like, but I'm quite unsure and want advice. The bike I'm thinking of is the Miyata CRUISE i 6180, here's the link to the manufacturer: https://www.miyatabike.com/miyata/lineup/cruise/cruise_i_6180.html

There are a few things that make it complicated:

  • I live in Tokyo
  • I will need to detach at least front wheel (and maybe also back wheel) to carry the bicycle in a bag(!) in train/bus to get to my destination
  • I will eventually want to carry my (light) camping gear
  • I decided to go for battery support because I also want to ride in the mountains and I have some health issues that will otherwise make it hard for me

That means I need a lightweight bike (to carry it with my hands in a bag) but also want battery and equip my camping gear. Optimally I'd also prefer a belt or hub drive rather than chain drive, but I've given up on this requirement.

On the good hand: I'm not looking for fastest speeds or best performance, I want to cycle relaxed.

What do you think of that bike choice? There is another version that has drop bars instead of flat ones, but not sure if I want that - I prefer a more relaxed/upright position and flat bars will make it easier to also use it in the city for regular stuff (that's a nice plus). I wish they had an option to get a carbon fork, but seems they don't offer that...
