I've used windows and linux (mostly arch or debian based) equally for the last 1.5 decades, this is the first time i'll use an apple device. Are there things I should know? I am pretty much new to apple.

I'm moving in with my girlfriend, she will have a salary by then that is sufficient according to the swedish rules to financially cover me so i can actually do the initial move. After that I'll go do SFI (swedish classes) pretty much as soon as I can, and start a uni/college study.
I'm a bit nervous how long it would take to officially get the residency and my swedish ID card, as I do rely on medication. I can probably get about 3 months of meds at the move, but I can't really be without and i can only start the process of getting in the swedish medical system after i got my ID card from what i understand.
Any experiences with how long getting the residency ID card takes for a schengen-zone EU citizen moving to sweden? Thanks
