We first met her when she was a kitten, possibly 2 months. It took a while to get a decent photo, and soon she was gone again. Fast forward 8 or 9 months and she reappears significantly larger than before.Almost exactly 2 years ago she had an altercation with a couple big boys, so I broke it up and moved her inside. The next afternoon I heard a small noise only to find a little behbeh who had recently escaped from ‘my new’ r/trojan cat!

We tried to bring her in when she was little, but after she walked in we closed the door and she made it abundantly clear that she was not a house cat. Soon after she was gone. But following her reappearance (quite possibly on the day of the fight) it quickly became clear that we were unpaid Staff. She delivered 6, but due to the traumatic nature of things 4 were just too early and not equipped to make it. Cali (the calico) convinced me twice that she would follow her sisters, but in the end she pulled through. She had me in tears more times than I would admit to.

The last picture shows Cali with her brother Tubitha. You may notice the difference in size. Tubitha never missed a meal, while I struggled with KMR and a variety of soft kitten food to help Cali.

The little ones are in new homes while Victortia loves to verify if I’m sleeping by biting my nose. I often wonder how different things could be if I only liked cats!

I saved a kitten from a pit-mix (my dog). This occurred about 2am during the late night potty break. It was pinned to the ground with Theo’s (dog) jaws surrounding its chest. The cat was screaming and flailing everything that ended in razors. Theo backed off as soon as I began wrapping it in my jacket. Went inside handed it to MyLove and explained what (I thought) happened. My belief was it was fatally wounded and would likely soon pass. We examined it and found it was covered in blood spots, assuming each spot caused by a tooth. The following morning it was still alive and showing no ill effects (Theo had slashes all over his face though). We quickly determined that all the blood belonged to Theo, and he had never injured the kitten. Living a lifetime inside with cats seems to have had an impact.

CDS tricked me into bringing another inside! In a month the little one revealed his name to be “Scheiße” and has lived the life of a turd in every aspect!
