It seems to me we're being stolen from, without even realizing that something like this was added onto our accounts with no communication, now imagine this with lakhs of elderly or technologically unaware people who probably don't even realize where their money is going

AND its a hassle to even call the SBI helpline and click over so many options just to talk to an Agent, only for them to say "Please visit the branch since we can't cancel it here"

They simply want to take advantage of people's lack of "let it be, going to the branch is too much work", which keeps them customers even if its unconsented.

I called the bank, no help, I emailed them on customercare@sbi.co.in and received only acknowledgement back so far, no resolution or cancellation
