Is anyone else seeing old content randomly outrank fresh content now?

Not sure if this is happening only on my side, but lately I’ve seen older pages with barely any updates suddenly start climbing again, while newer and more optimized posts just sit there. It almost feels like Google is trusting aged content and site history more after the recent AI-heavy changes. Even when the fresh content is technically better, the older pages still seem more stable in rankings. I’m testing different things right now, but honestly trying to understand what signal is getting priority these days. Are you guys noticing something similar or found any pattern behind it?

Been noticing something weird recently some pages are getting more impressions in Search Console, but actual clicks and traffic feel lower than before. Makes me wonder if AI overviews are changing user behavior more than we expected. Like the content is still showing, but people aren’t clicking the same way now. I’m testing different formats and layouts to see what keeps users interested enough to visit the site. Curious if anyone else is seeing this too or found something that’s helping improve CTR in the current SEO climate
