Hello,

I’m writing regarding r/PWM_Sensitive. This community focuses on pulse-width modulation (PWM) sensitivity, which is an important and often overlooked issue that affects many people’s ability to use modern screens without discomfort or health symptoms.

Unfortunately, the subreddit currently has two moderators who have not been active on Reddit for over a year. As a result, the community has little to no moderation, which limits its ability to grow, stay organized, and remain a safe and helpful resource for people dealing with PWM sensitivity. Members of the community are also concerned that, due to the lack of active moderation, this important subreddit could eventually be restricted or shut down.

I have been a member of r/PWM_Sensitive since it was created in 2021 and have been actively involved in the community from early on. I also had a positive relationship with the user who originally created the subreddit, but they have since disappeared from Reddit and are no longer active.

This topic has a real impact on people’s daily lives, including their ability to work, study, and use essential devices. An active and well-managed community could provide support, share research, discuss device compatibility, and help raise awareness about accessibility concerns related to display technology.

I would like to request moderator privileges for r/PWM_Sensitive so I can help maintain and grow the community. I’m committed to:

  • Keeping discussions respectful and on-topic
  • Organizing resources and helpful information
  • Reducing spam and misinformation
  • Supporting users who are looking for guidance and shared experiences

I care deeply about this subject and want to ensure the subreddit remains a valuable, supportive place for those affected.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
