I am now a proud owner of an Eliminator :)
Bought it yesterday, now waiting on them to deliver it

Bought it yesterday, now waiting on them to deliver it
So I just bought the 2025 Eliminator 500 SE and had no idea that I’m supposed to charge the battery lol
The bike will be kept at my mother in laws bc she has a garage so I won’t always be there to unplug the charger. Does the OptiMate 4 overcharge or does it keep it at a level where it won’t overcharge the battery?
Are they the same thing? I have a 2025 SE and need some so I don’t mess up the bike. Anyone have any recommendations?
Im a beginner
So now I’m torn between the Rebel 500 and the Eliminator. Anyone have a preference?
So my question is, has anyone just bought the motorcycle first and practiced before taking the msf course? Those that did, did you have friends or family that ride too that helped?
I’m not saying that’s what I’m going to do, just curious what others did.
So I got my helmet as an early Mother’s Day present from my wife. I plan to buy a Rebel 500 in the very near future. I can’t wait :)
So what type of gear should I be getting if I’ll be riding a cruiser? I know it’s dress for the slide, not the ride and I’m 100% down for that. I just don’t want to be in full sports gear and be riding a rebel 500 lol
I should also note that I do not have a bike yet, I’m going to be taking the msf course and I’m an absolutely a beginner, no experience whatsoever.
Links would be great :)
So I want to learn how to ride and I plan to take the MSF course. My question is, how did you guys determine what kind of bike to get? I really like the Honda Rebel 300 and 500. But I also really like the Honda CBR and the Ninja. I’m not sure what to choose. I’m not looking to be going super fast but I want something that will be fine on the turn pike and highways, things like that. I’ve only ever ridden on the back of a bike years ago. So I’m an absolute beginner. No experience whatsoever. I’m a 5’7” female about 170ish lbs.
Edit:: I plan to go sit on some bikes this weekend.
