Hi there,

I have a 14 Escalade esv that I got up on a lift today and was able to narrow it down to the transfer case. It has 74000 miles in it and I think it may need to be replaced (making a low grinding noise). When replacing should I track down a low-ish mile junk yard tcase or should I snag a refurb unit from the gear shop for $1200 that has a 3 year warranty? Opinions appreciated!
