Questjon

Probs a stretch but I got my belly pierced last year, was all good and okay but ended up taking it out.
Got it done in feb this year, 8 days later I got randomly felt so sick and haven’t been better since. The only thing that changed was me getting a peircing. It was constantly pussing even until a week ago, I took it out now though.
Wondering if anyone else has this experience or if it sounds like an infection of some sort from it?
I’ve felt sick ever since and had a bunch of symptoms but the fact it was still pussing green months later is a red flag for me.
(I Have digestive problems anyway) but it was fine last time I got it done, hence why I’m wondering if it’s an infection… I’ve tried googling but it’s not helping too much. Any advice or similar situations?

questionnn

I haven’t been diagnosed by the test because I am too poorly too. I’ve been to a kinesiology appointment, (Ivenever heard of it before either)

“Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement, applying principles of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to analyze how the body functions”

She told me it was most likely an infection I’ve had for years and got diagnosed with gastroparesis as a secondary condition. (All started after two rounds of antibiotics and a sick bug)
Nausea, no appetite, loss off hunger signals, brain fog, wake up feeling hungover, headaches, extremely tired (sleeping all night and most of the day) can’t get out of bed.
But recently over the last few days I’ve had random stomach pain, mainly under my left rib, is this a symptom of sibo?
I also feel worse when I eat, and when I don’t eat I definitely feel loads better.

I know Google exists but I like to hear experiences from real people and not random things Google chucks at you.
Also wanna mention when I first got poorly a few years ago I had new food intolerances, gluten & egg and a bunch of others on the side (watermelon, carrot etc)
(I did get a gastric emptying test done the first year when I fell poorly, it did comeback but they didn’t say how extreme but also read the root cause of sibo can be slow motility)
My gastroenterologist diagnosed me with functional dyspepsia which I may have but I really feel like it’s not the illness making me bed bound.
She’s given me morinda supreme, magnesium, zinc, and b6 supplements. Obviously not going to tolerate antibiotics and I know they can ruin your gut more than help it. Any success stories with supplements?
Please any advice or stories would be great, I’ve always thought it was sibo but no doctor mentioned it so I didn’t think about it too much. Anything that helped you!!! I want this gone and to be back up for summer. Been bed bound since feb and had enough.

Question

I honestly have no idea what kinesiology is, or how it works. I went to an appointment yesterday and she gave me supplements for sibo. I agree with her.

How reliable is kinesiology is what I’m asking basically and how does it work? I’m confused on what she did and why she did it

Which tablets worked best for you?
Amitriptyline made me feel too sleepy and I couldn’t get up, so asking my doctor about Buspirone.
(Symptoms are Nausea, loss off appetite, and early fullness)

I had a few problems in decemeber 2023, my symptoms disappeared within weeks and then got diagnosed with gastroparesis almost a year later, I’ve been fine for years,
Since feb all my symptoms have come back worse.
Nausea constantly
Bed bound
Headaches
No appetite and complete loss off all hunger signals
(POTS like symptoms that have been here since that December and never disappeared) but im not sure POTS could cause all of this.

I’ve started amitriptyline as my dr thinks gastroparesis was a misdiagnosis and he thinks it’s functional dypespia.
Been about 3 weeks on it and it has helped the nausea and I’ve noticed I am definitely eating more but i feel sooo much full than i did before and i feel off, I can’t really describe it but I feel sooo weird since starting it…
Sometimes I feel like I need to shake my whole body to get rid of the feeling (even though it doesn’t actually get rid of it)
I’m not sure if I should stop taking it… as it has helped a bit with the feeling sick and was also extremely constipated until 2 days ago where my bowel movements have gone back to normal. Which makes me think it is working.
It’s been 4 months without any type of hunger signals or rumbling from my stomach. I have no idea what to do
(I’m also only on 5mg of amitriptyline)

I’m supposed to take mirtazapine for functional dyspepsia nausea. I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying they throw up after taking this but do not specify which dose. Really want to try it as it could be a way back to my life and not sitting in bed all day because i feel too ill to move. But these responses are really putting me off.

(Have huge emetophobia)

Anyone taken 7.5mg or 15mg? Positive or negative responses

Please I want real answers and with the dose you took!!!
