Senior Karen loses it at Joshua Tree McDonald’s over a Filet-O-Fish

So we just stopped at the McDonald’s in Yucca Valley (close to JT) before heading into our last day of Coachella, and… wow.

Place was packed (obviously), long line, everyone just waiting their turn like normal humans. There was a group of women sitting behind my husband while he was waiting, and one of them just would not stop complaining about how long her food was taking. Like full-on ranting while her friends were clearly trying to calm her down.

Then she gets up, marches to the counter, SLAMS her order number down, and starts demanding how long her “fish fillet sandwich” is going to take — “two hours? three hours? four hours?” 🙄

But it gets worse.

She starts talking to the employee in the most condescending way possible, slowly over-enunciating every word like he couldn’t understand her. Super disrespectful, super unnecessary, and honestly just gross behavior.

Meanwhile the employees are just trying to keep up with a huge rush of people.

The wild part? They all looked like they had just come from church… which made the whole thing even more ironic.

Like ma’am… it’s a McDonald’s in the middle of a festival weekend. Your Filet-O-Fish is not an emergency.

Shoutout to the employees for dealing with that because I could not. Nobody deserves to be talked to like that over a sandwich.

If you were there, you definitely know exactly who I’m talking about…… and yes I have a video of her. lol
