Man, wearing bright clothes and crazy colorful accessories and skateboarding were the epitome of cool back then!

When Ryuki first got Cleo as a kitten

She's a pure-bred Birman kitten but she was born with the signature white "gloves" that show-quality Birman have. So her breeder sold her for fairly cheap and Ryuki knew he had to buy her.

I hate how Fred was made to be an idiot

This is a gripe with the Scooby-Doo franchise as a whole (though Velma took it up to eleven). In the earliest seasons, Fred was the second most intelligent member of Mystery Inc after Velma and the most resourceful. He was the leader for a reason. Then A Pup Named Scooby-Doo came along and made him obsessed with tabloids and blaming Red Herring for everything. Which was okay because it was a basically a parody of Scooby-Doo. I could deal with it. But then that ended up becoming Fred's default personality. I hate it.

And it's not like all of the characters were changed. Future Daphne didn't maintain her fear of dirt and wrinkled clothes or her "There's no such thing as ghosts" mindset. I don't get why they had to change Fred so drastically.

How did Old Biff go to the past, give himself the Almanac and then come back to the same 2015 that current Marty and Doc were still in? He should have gone to the 2015 of the Rich Biff timeline

My brother will be going without milk for a while

I bought us each milk today. A gallon of regular for him and my usual half-gallon of lactose-free milk. He drank all of his in less than one day while I haven't even touched mine. So he will not get anymore until mine is gone and I take around 5 days to use up my milk. This is ridiculous. I can't afford to support his milk habit. He doesn't want to drink water.

Ryuki and Leah on a walk in a park

Taking a little break from Skye. These are two of my "real-world" OCs. They live in the year 2050 in New York City. They work for a corporation called "Bright Future Enterprises".

I was at Dollar General Market and I had more stuff than I had money for on my EBT card so I asked them to put $65.00 on the card and the rest on a debit card, something I've done many times before. I had just come from Aldi and my account balance was $65.75. It was even printed on the receipt.

For some reason the transaction didn't go through and the cashier said the register was telling them I had around $8 less than I thought so I just paid the amount they said was on the card and paid the rest with my debit card. Well, guess what? My receipt shows my balance as around $8 so I don't know what the hell happened.

Also, I am in Tennessee.

The Burger King near where my mom worked had not only a playplace but a "clubhouse" where kids would eat and hang out and do activities. I don't know if that was universal for Burger King but the one me and my brother went to absolutely rocked.

Her younger brother was the golden child. Her father was very chauvinistic and wanted all boys but Skye being born threw a wrench in that plan and Skye's mother agreed with everything her husband said. She was very much a "boy mom" who fussed over and pampered her son while Skye was forced to start cleaning from an early age and was forced to do whatever her brother said, even do his homework and clean up after him.

Skye never got new clothes, always donated hand-me-downs and while her parents and brother went on vacations and ate at restaurants, Skye was generally left with her grandparents who while not as neglectful as her parents, believed her parents' lies that she was a problem child and delinquent.

On her 18th birthday after she graduated high school, her parents kicked her out of the house. Skye left and spent a while earning money doing odd jobs (during which she got some Pokemon, including her Pikachu) and then moving to Alola where she got a job at a diner and saved enough money to buy a fixer-upper on Ula'ula Island.

Despite me watching videos of that very thing happening. One of them was pretty recent, only a year ago so it could have been AI but one was from 6 years ago and yet another was from 12 years ago so AI wouldn't have been an option at the time.

A couple of my Fakemon. The Snowlet line was the original female counterpart to the Rufflet line until climate change melted the Glaciary's nesting grounds. They fled for icy mountains and the Vullaby line ended up filling the niche. Pokemon researchers thought Snowlet and Glaciary were extinct until recently.

in my experience, Shake Shacks are typically opened in the nicer, more modern parts of a town, especially in areas with mixed-use development so when I see a Shake Shack, it's generally a sign that the whole area is pretty nice and developed and often walkable.
