Am I swavy or am I coping?

I tried the bowl method after seeing someone make a post about their hair never cooperating because they didn't realize it was wavy. These are my results.

My hair is fine. I usually wash, condition, stick it in a towel, and then blowdry upside down and brush it out. This makes it look pretty straight. (Last photo). I have trouble with it looking frizzy no matter what - everything is super smooth until around mid-ear, where ends begin to stick out even though not all of them are broken. It just seems to be how my hair is! Now I'm questioning everything...

Do I actually have wavy hair or am I just deluding myself to explain frizz? 😅

Hello!

I have a 15 y.o. neutered male cat with good bloodwork and negatives on FIP, FIV, and FeLV. He has a chronic URI but that's all as far as identifiable conditions.

His weight has gone from 8.5ish lb to 5.8lb in two years :( and he has diarrhea issues, so we are trying Hills I/D prescription food to help him poop better and gain weight. We just started this week.

I'd like to ground my expectations and hear from others whose cats are on prescription food. How long did it take for your cat's weight to change?

I am especially hoping to hear from anyone whose cat had to specifically gain weight.

Thank you!
