Vacation.

I just thought id rub it in that im going on vacation. First time in about 15 years. Doc says if I dont take a break ill probably die early from overwork. Ill probably get shark bit on the first day, or get the flu or something to balancethings out.

Other Carpenters, do yall take a vacation? If so where you going? Where you been? Im going on a cruise. Im leaving my singular employee here to man the battlestation. And by Battlestation, I mean the porta-potty that he uses as his private anime theater.

I plan to paste a photo of myself inside it so he doesn't get seperation anxiety.

Help?

Does anyone have experience using SW hi-bild precat? I have a decent level of experience finishing and this is a first. I sprayed this giant mantle i built. First can of it sprayed beautiful. 2nd can gave me orange peel. An amazing amount of it. I have thinned it to at this point 15%, used about 1.5% retarder. If I spray a wet enough coat to eliminate orange peel I get curtains. If I spray it like I normally would I get orange peel. Im using a 4 stage fuji minimite with a 1.3 tip. I have sanded orange peel until I hate my entire existence now. The reason im using hibild is because I have to spray it Vertical. No choice, and definitely not the way i wanted to spray it. At this point im thinking of block sanding the entire thing and buffing out to the right sheen(satin medium rubbed). Im going to ditch the rest of this can and get another one but im second guessing whether it is even the product. Maybe im the idiot, I definitely am one most of the time but I dont think my idiocy is the cause of this. Any help is appreciated. Id post pics but im not there now, I ran screaming. Ill post some tomorrow maybe.
