[Discussion] Is there cultural appropriation in the gym chalk asmr community?

So, putting this in a discussion cause I wanna know about it and haven't made up my mind on it. In gym chalk asmr, one of the main ingredients that one might see being used is "Holi powder". Now, Holi powder itself is not an ingredient that exists anywhere and it's a popular term used by people to refer to the pigment. And that's exactly what it is - a pigment. Abeer or Gulal, in fact. The accurate word is for that specific pigment we use in Holi is called either abeer or gulal. Or one can simply still call it pigment powder, but it won't cover that specific soft feel and texture of that powder.

Now, I have gotten a long standing feeling that the gc asmr community takes the Indian viewers for granted - not replying to their comments, not wishing for any festival but their own (not that viewers expect people to wish them) and not even acknowledging where the term "holi powder" comes from almost as if it's a fad but they still insist on using the term and pigment "holi powder".

One could have just googled the official words for Holi powder and would've come across gulal or abeer, but for some reason they still keep using it. Furthermore, do they even know why or where this powder is used or are they using it as just a trend?

So, my question now is, is this as of now cultural appropriation? Or perhaps, what I'm suggesting, not the using the words "Holi powder" would then be cultural appropropriation. Because as of now, using the word "Holi" still hints to acknowledging something, but then apart from this word, they really do not acknowledge anything. So, I'm confused, is this cultural appropriation or not?

(sorry, this got rambly, this is my first time posting here)
