Car advice
Hi y'all. My car was recently involved in a collision that was no fault of my own. The assailant was drunk and ended up totalling my car while it was parked on the road. They got arrested, but that's as far as I know on that end. Allstate is paying for a rental, but my problem is how much Allstate is offering for my vehicle. After my deductible I am only receiving $6k for my vehicle that is just over a decade old but in great condition with no issues.
Is it reasonable for me to request that they offer more considering the fact that I have full coverage and this accident was 100% not my fault? And is it worth it to get a lawyer?
Thanks in advance.
