What’s a sign that a tutoring session went really well?

Sometimes the results of tutoring show up later through better grades. But during the session itself there are often small signals that the student is starting to understand things better. Things like asking deeper questions or solving problems more confidently. What signs do you look for that a lesson was successful?

Does anyone else feel like they’re just "waiting"?

Does anyone else get that weird feeling where you’re not necessarily "sad," but you’re just constantly waiting for something to happen? Like you’re stuck in a waiting room for your own life to start? I find myself going through the motions every day, work, errands, sleep, but I’m never actually present. It’s like I’m holding my breath for a future version of me that finally feels "normal" or happy, but that day never seems to actually arrive.

I’m curious if this is a common thing or if I’m just overthinking it. Does this "waiting" feeling resonate with you at all, or have you found a way to actually snap out of it and feel like you’re living in the moment? I’d love to hear how you guys deal with that mental fog.
