So I bought the Blade Runner Final Cut 4K disc and watched it on my buddy's dedicated 120 inch 4K projection system / theater. It was really good but I couldn't get over the fact that black really looked gray to me. A few weeks later I popped the movie into my system which uses an 83" C1.

Oh my god! Now I understand why this disc got such great reviews as a reissue. Black was actually black. And the colors really popped against the infinite black.

Moral of the story is this truism - once you go OLED you can never go back.
