Overnight I was woken up by some sort of loudspeaker on a vehicle. (I think going down 5th Avenue) at like 2am, 4am, and 6amish.

It was pretty muffled and I couldn’t discern what it was actually saying (it might have even been trilingual), there was no music it was just spoken word.

I know for mosquito spraying there’s sometimes loudspeakers but it’s too early in the season for that, and the city hasn’t posted about that.

I vaguely remember some discourse a few years back about how Sunset Park produce stands and stores have some of the best connects in terms of avocado quality in the city. Obviously most produce stands are sourced out of Hunts Point, but I'm curious to know what spot that might be referring to? Any other neighborhood recs?
