Do you notice any difference between L-Tyrosine, L-Phenylalanine, and DL-Phenylalanine?

I read about the research behind them, have used L Tyrosine, it's ok for me, good focus for an hour or max 2 with some anxiety.

I've looked into Phenylalanine for comparison as a lot of people online swear by it as opposed to L Tyrosine for some reason (reasons weren't clear to me), and to make things more complicated, some people were swearing by L, others the DL versions..

So for people who have tried multiple or all 3, what's your experiences? How do they differ for you?

How to use time to buy cards?

In the action phase, when you have 0 time, the rule says you can still take actions if you wanted, but if you do and your action costs you time, you go down to the red X, and your action phase is over.

What I don't fully understand is, let's say I have 1 time left (marker is on 1), can I still a buy a card that costs 2 time, which technically would bring it down to the red X (or when my time is on 0, then buy 'close call' for one time), like in the action phase where you can still take action at 0 time?

People who like games like nemesis, stalker, grimcoven, cthulhu death may die etc..

Do you always pay extra for the minies? Do you find the extra cost to get the minis meaningfully adds to your enjoyment of the game (vs. Standees), or that playing with standees detracts from the experience?

I know some of the above games come with minis by default, but most of the newest games I looked at are usually standees only for standard edition and minies are only in the deluxe editions (sometimes double the cost).

I always liked minies, but I am not 100% sure the increasing cost for the minies are justified, but again, never played a game like the above with standees, so I'm not sure if it detracts from the experience too much.

I'm new to Final Girl, but I'm a sucker for both horror and fun, thematic solo games, so I think it'd be a match..

But with 3 seasons and 16 feature film boxes out, what's your ranking?

I am thinking of starting with 3 boxes,

  1. The Happy Trails +

  2. The Falconwood Files (I like this genre of horror, kinda like found footage / stranger things vibes from what I'm reading on the description) +

  3. Frightmare on Maple Lane.

Would you add (or remove) any, and I'd be curious what's your ranking of all of them!

There's the soon closing pledge for 20 strong awaken realms bundle where you get 3 shorter games essentially (20 strong versions of nemesis, tainted grail, and etherfields, link here ), which would be a similar-ish price ($107) as Grimcoven standard edition (standees no minis) in my local store ($122).

Out of these 2, which one you'd pick for solo game?

For context, I have a played cthulhu death may die, Kinfire delve, and under falling skies solo, I liked the first 2 more.

I am new to the hobby, and just found one copy of Grimcoven in my local shop, but by the next day when I was about to buy it, it went out of stock..

I now looked into Gamefound, and I wrapped my head around how the whole crowd funding works, but I see for Grimcoven the pledge is already closed, and wherever I look right now, I can't seem to find Grimcoven for sale in retail for a month now..

Also I couldn't even find it on sale on Awakend Realms' website either.
