How should I schedule CHEM 241, 261, and 262 for the next three semesters?
Hello, I am currently a freshman undergraduate on the pre-dental track, which means I have to take CHEM 241, 261, and 262, which I plan to take the next 3 semesters.
What I wanted to do was take Chem 241 and the lab next semester, then 261 and lastly 262. However, I currently have the class for CHEM 241, but I am waitlist spot 41 for the lab out of 20 spots. If I don't get the lab spot, that would mean I have to take just the class next semester, then take CHEM 261 and 241 lab at the same time in the spring.
My other option is to take CHEM 261 next semester, then hopefully get CHEM 241 and the lab in spring, and lastly CHEM 262 (I can't take CHEM 262 before 241 because 241 is a prerequisite).
For those who have gone through this pathway, what would you recommend? Obviously, I would rather take 241 with the lab, however I'm not sure if I want an entire semester in between taking 261 and 262. I also do not know how difficult it would be to balance the topics in 261 and 241L at the same time.
