Water went into intake manifold ports

Guys I thought I had covered the intake manifold ports enough and it had been raining for the past couple weeks. I went today to work on the car and the ports had water in them. I vacuumed it out. Should I take out the engine again to check if any rust has occurred on the pistons/cylinder walls or if any water made it through? I was thinking of taking the engine out and putting a camera through the spark plug holes to check.

Tuners of reddit. You think its safe to drive 2 hours to get a tune or have it towed. It was previously tuned, but added elh, upipe, deleted the air pump and put a lightweight pulley in it.
