I made a post in the FB group looking for used exhaust in Canada. Someone messaged me to save money and go with Alibaba.

I am not into that personally and don't mind paying for quality. I know in the BMW world a lot of guys order from them. Apparently valvetronic started out by drop shipping them.

Curious what others think.

Hi everyone.

I don't have the best records from previous years but started in 2023 tracking down the penny.

I am a Canadian citizen and have resided in Ontario since birth.

How can I figure my remaining contribution room?

My accurate records of contributions

2023 - $5,611.07

2024 - $22,065.03

2025 - $22,161.32

CRA's contribution room remaining

2022 - $42,735.24

2023 - $35,215.42

2024 - $37,504.35

2025 - $25,439.67

2026 - $29,439.67

I have further records from CRA but just put the recent years above.

Contribution room history from CRA (untouched until 2016) + My contributions

2016 $39,500.00 - $9,000 withdrawal (no memory or records for what)

2017 $53,235.23

2018 $58,735.23

2019 $64,735.23

2020 $70,735.23

2021 $76,735.23 + $41,000.00 Contribution with $900.00 withdrawal (CRA Record I have none)

2022 $42,735.24 + $14,019.82 Contribution (CRA Record I have none)

2023 $35,215.42. + $5,611.07 Contribution (CRA Record and mine match)

2024 $37,504.35 + $22,065.03 Contribution (CRA Record and mine match)

2025 $22,439.67 + $22,161.32 Contribution (CRA not uploaded yet)

Total contribution I can track are $104,857.24 - $900 = $103,957.24

The total TFSA room I believe is $109,000.00.

I am lost with how much room I have remaining.

Hi everyone, 2022 is500 80k miles.

Recently had my coolant flushed, transmission fluid drain and fill, and rear differential drain and fill.

I can’t tell if this fluid is to low on the refill. Photos were taking after the car sat on even ground for 12 hours.

The manual says if it is below LOW line to fill to the max line while cold.

I can see the max line but not the cold line.

I had this done at a Toyota dealership.

I called a Lexus dealer but the service advisor said he recommended not changing out the life long trans fluid because there are metal shavings in it from when it first starts to operate and they settle in. Draining the fluid will drain the metal shavings and the transmission will create new metal shavings and that could create a problem.

Sees comical to me, I don’t buy the life long fluid a mantra.

Hi everyone,

Recently got a 2022 is500 and the owners manual was absent. The online ones are for 300/350/500 and I can’t find a specific is500 manual.

Does anyone know the fluid type, capacity, and specs for;

Rear differential

Transmission

Coolant

Brake fluid

Thanks for any help

Pic for attention
