After lots of hemming and hawing over what stand, what type, etc. etc. I think that I've decided that a Lowery stand is the right one for me at this point. I'm considering just getting a stand and an extra long L bar. 2 questions:
- Any other accessories that I should be considering? I stitch on stretcher bars (not scroll, at least at this point).
- Any place you'd recommend to order the stand from? I am looking at Rittenhouse, but if there are reliable cheaper options would of course prefer those.

I bought this Coco Frank x Inslee Farris for myself for my birthday a bit ago and I’m ready to finally kit it. I plan to use as a pillow so it will be getting some wear and I plan to basketweave the entire canvas. I have seen the Coco Frank blog recommendation for fibers, but I’m not sure I want to stitch with Silk and Ivory. It always ends up feeling fuzzy-ish to me. What would you do if you were doing this canvas?

I am going to be in Vegas this weekend and am wondering if any of the LNS in the Vegas area are worth visiting? I am coming from SF, where I have a few great LNS so I’m just curious if there’s anything special or local I could find while out there.

(I’ve been going to Vegas for 30+ years (work and such) and this is a very different post than I would have made in my 20’s 🤣🤣)
