My backyard property is pretty large and borders about 6 other backyards. One of these neighbors is an avid gardener/farmer and wants to expand his plot of land to add some more gardening room. The area he would like contains nothing of value to me except property land value and a large tree that I’d be happy to hand the responsibility off to someone else. I have no clue what the process for something like this would be or how to value the area for sale. Would sale or easement rights be better? Idk. Has anyone been through something like this? Any direction would be appreciated.
