PSA: Moonstone puffers for a classic 90’s fit
Moonstone made some legendary down pieces like puffers and sleeping bags, until they were purchased by Columbia in the late 90’s and the label was quietly sunsetted by the mid 2000’s. This is an ‘04 model, one of the last made.
Puffers like this one can be found dirt cheap, and the slightly cropped fit is perfect. The bottom quilt is slimmer than the rest of the body, works well with pants that sit more at the waist. I got this one for like $25, and a cycle with Down Wash made it good as new!
