DreamDrive Pro on 2 Lane Highways
I currently have a Model Y and am looking heavily into getting a 22-23 Air Grand Touring. With the MY I only use basic autopilot and it does very well for my use case, I have a 200mi round trip commute that is 40% 2 lane state highway and 60% interstate. The state highway is pretty straight, a couple long curves, but basic autopilot handles it just fine (obviously I handle passing, interchanges, etc) I know from videos Ive found that it seems Dream Drive Pro should be as good or better on the interstate, but Im not finding hardly any answers regarding 2 lane highways on newer software. Some people act like it will work, just have to keep a hand on the wheel (same as basic autopilot on HW3), but others seem to indicate you get adaptive cruise only unless it's a mapped road. Ive done a ton of research on the car and am in love with everything else, but this could be a hang up for me with the long commute. Im probably 6-12 months out from purchase, so I know software could evolve as well, but Id like to see if I could get some first hand feedback.
