48-week fat loss protocol — looking for thoughts / feedback
Hey everyone, wanted to get some opinions on a long-term protocol I’m planning. I’ve posted a few times here and after doing research this is what I’ve kinda decided on.
Background:
24M, 6’4”, currently ~300 lbs 198 Lean mass. I’ve already cut down from ~370 and have a solid lifting + nutrition plan in place (aiming for ~280g protein daily, consistent training, etc.). Goal is to get down to ~225 and lean (~12–15% BF).
Plan is a 48-week structured run with built-in cycling to avoid burnout and diminishing returns.
Base (run the whole time):
- Retatrutide (weekly)
- Tesamorelin (weekdays only, with a 2–3 week break every ~12 weeks)
- KLOW (weekdays)
Cycled phases:
- 8-week “push” phases:
- Ipamorelin (nightly, weekdays)
- MOTS-c (Mon/Wed/Fri)
- 5-Amino-1MQ (daily, weekdays)
- 4-week “reset” phases:
- Only base compounds (Reta + Tessa + KLOW)
Other notes:
- Weekends completely off everything except Reta timing
- Diet and training are dialed in (this isn’t replacing that)
- Goal is steady fat loss while preserving as much muscle as possible over the full 48 weeks possibly even packing some on.
Main questions:
- Does the cycling structure make sense long-term?
- Anything here you’d drop or adjust for efficiency?
- Any issues running something like this for that duration?
Appreciate any feedback — trying to be methodical about this instead of just throwing everything at it.
