What is you guys' ideal part one for the 8th Anniversary?

What is you guys' ideal part one for the 8th Anniversary?

For me, its honestly DBS Broly and SSJ4 Gogeta. I just see that as the greatest matchup imaginable that is unexpected, but hype at the same time.

Concept for a potential "Memory" system for Cookierun Ovenbreak.

So earlier today, I saw a post regarding progression being very unfair towards ftp players so I came up with a concept which, in my opinion. makes progression better for everyone.

Introduction

The "Memory" system is something exclusive to Cookies only and features a track-like progression system. Each rank requires EXP and the amount of EXP needed for each rank increases as you progress.

EXP SYSTEM

You get EXP from playing with a specific cookie and completing runs with that specific cookie. The way to get EXP, however, differs on which gamemode* you choose to play.

Trophy Road: Get EXP based on your rank

Breakout: Get EXP based on your score

Cookie Trials: Get EXP based on both your score and the difficulty you choose to play in.

You can also go to the "Today's Choice" tab to get a one-time daily EXP bonus on playing a specific mode with the cookie you're progressing.

*You can NOT get natural EXP from any other gamemode unless it's the current "Today's Choice" gamemode.

REWARDS

Rewards can vary, but exclusive rewards include epic pets, titles, and magic candy ingredients.

Also, some memory ranks can give HP bonus*

Once you reach the very end, you can continue to grind EXP to open chests that contain rewards like legendary pets, legendary potions, gems, coins, and magic candy ingredients.

*HP Bonus is applicable in every gamemode but breakout, trophy race, Champions League, 1 Trillion Challenge, and Guild Runs.

Leaderboard

Aim for the top by getting the best possible score with your cookie in specific gamemodes*

The leaderboard is reset every month, rewarding the Top 50 with their titles.

The top 50 are given a free legendary title to show their status and the Top 3 are given Ultimate Titles that are based on their individual ranks.

*Only exclusive to Trophy Run, Cookie Trials, and Breakout.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately, I didn't have any time to design every feature mentioned like the Leaderboard and "Today's Pick" system.

Other than that, though, what do you guys think? Is this a good addition to the game or a bad addition?

(Ngl, HP part was added to make the UI look a bit nicer. If you have problems with that, I totally understand)

What would constitute as a worthy candidate for CROB's 10th Anniversary?

A game lasting for 10 years is a MASSIVE achievement and, from what I saw in the live stream, they aren't going to hold back this year.

All I'm wondering, however, is who would even be a perfect candidate for the main headliner of the anniversary? A time manipulating cookie that is on par with timekeeper cookie? A cookie that controls the memories of every living being? Maybe even gingerbrave with a soul jam?

What do you guys think?

Does SMC have a sword or smth?

I just got this ad and, as far as I’m aware, smc doesn’t have a distinct weapon of choice except his staff thingy, which is far from a blade imo 😭

Or I could be an absolute larping chud that I forgot a pivotal part of his character. Which one is it?

My thoughts on the story (RANT)

I'm a HUGE HUGE sucker for the ovenbreak lore and have been caught up with it since the wasabi and mustard cookie update.

So although people everywhere are saying that the latest addition to the CRK lore is a disgrace to the ovenbreak storyline, I honestly didn't think it was terrible.

Now before you pick up your pitchforks, I am NOT saying that the latest chapter is a masterpiece by any means because holy hell does it have problems but the main argument that I am trying to make here is that it isn't as bad as how people paint it.

First off, the good things I loved about this update was honestly the characterization of timekeeper cookie. Its very different from ovenbreak but it I think its handled in a way that I feel honors the source material well enough. And no, before you ask, a cookie's power level does not define the actual character itself which, for some odd reason, is the main argument that is made against this character.

And lastly, the actual foundation of this story is CRAZY good. Like, a whole new alternate timeline that is so screwed up that its threatening the original core timeline? Not to mention every beast character becoming an eldritch monstrosity that, in my interpretation, is the personification of their status as beasts. And the TBD, oh my god. Like I REALLY like how alive the TBD feels with the voice acting and effects. Its genuinely so good imo.

The lore is set up so well and feels perfect so what went so wrong? One answer: Shadow Milk Cookie. I know EVERYONE that is defending the story is saying that this isn't viable criticism because hes, "the main villain" so ofc he's going to show up all the time, however, there are A LOT of other things wrong with his character that inevitably ruined the story for a lot of people.

First off, his power because what the hell. Where did his sudden boost in power come from? Taking the power of all the beast soul jams? Even if this was the case, legit when did he do this? I rewatched episode 15 multiple times to see if I was tweaking but his "awakening" just shows up out of nowhere, like, what? And somehow he has the power to just.. turn any beast in another timeline to crazy eldritch beings? Not only that, where did he learn how to create a "barrier" in his timeline? As far as I'm concerned, the only time manipulating power he had was being strong enough to influence MAJOR events in the core timeline but thats pretty much it.

Like, I would be fine with this if it weren't for the fact that his powers weren't so inconsistent. From what I've gathered, he originally was able to manipulate cookies to be his "play things" for his own entertainment but its gone from that to literally creating a new timeline with no proper buildup for this new power.

TL;DR: The lore, in my opinion, is set up REALLY well but the execution is just really bad that it makes the story mediocre.

Been practicing character art since I've mainly been making art of cities and crap.

Also, sorry for the rough edges btw. I don't have a drawing tablet so I use my mouse to draw.

I'm gonna be real, despite drawing for nearly 4 years, I never really drew characters that much. Because of that, I've been making these weird shitpost artworks to help me practice so I hope you enjoy them.

Anyways, enjoy Grant Regent Timekeeper Cookie.

By "out of the blue", I'm talking about a unit that legit no one expects but everyone is hyped for nonetheless. Something like the gammas from the 5th anniv where absolutely 0 people expected them, yet, they showed them off anyways and pulled probably one of the greatest reveals in the game's history.

I still cant believe that this is a super epic costume

The thing I really like about CRK's story that I don't see people really talk about is how good the general premise is. Like, the concept writers need to have their salaries raised because its genuinely so good.

However, in my opinion, the story itself is plagued by terrible execution which I personally think is what created the whole love-hate relationship that people have with the story. Like, its always kind of disappointed me that the story has such a unique and perfect foundation, only for the writers to build a sand castle on top of it.

And I know that people are already going insane about the whole timekeeper misinterpretation which, I'm ngl, I kinda of agree with, I hope that they take all the criticism and make a story that is genuinely good and fix the many mistakes that they made with the story.
