I bought my laptop about a year ago, and I’ve recently started facing a really annoying issue: random freezing, especially when using PDFs or watching videos.

It all started when I disabled the e-cores in the BIOS because some games were too laggy. I saw a comment on Steam suggesting that disabling e-cores could improve gaming performance. I tried that, but it didn’t fix the issue, so I re-enabled them.

After that, I began experiencing random freezes every time after about 3–4 hours of usage, and I have to force restart the laptop. I reset my BIOS settings to default, but that didn’t help. Then someone suggested disabling CPU boost, but that didn’t fix it either.

I also tried setting it to “efficient enabled,” which helped for a while—it became less frequent, but the issue still happens. I checked all my drivers, and everything is up to date with no apparent problems.

I’m not sure what to do next—I think I might have messed something up.
