Can anyone recommend a good provider for psych med management?

My husband is in need of a good provider for his psych med management. His current provider is an asshole and blames side effects on his weight. Looking for someone who is not a fatphobic jerk and will actually listen.

Psych said Lexapro isn't to blame for fatigue and to just lose weight, what do you all think?

My husband has a BMI of about 45. He is quite active despite his weight because his job requires him to walk 12 miles a day. He's been having issues with daytime sleepiness for awhile and we've run through all the potential causes that we can think of with our GP and a few specialists.

He's had blood work to check for diabetes, anemia, Vitamin D deficiency, and a bunch of other potential causes of his fatigue but nothing out of the ordinary was found. He has sleep apnea that is under control and he's already seen his sleep medicine doctor to verify that everything is fine there. He has hypothyroidism but it's well controlled on medication per his endocrinologist's interpretation of blood work (everything within normal ranges). He also has low testosterone which is also well controlled on medication.

We started looking at medications he's taking and noticed that his Lexapro dose is 30mg which is above the normal max. I looked up Lexapro side effects and drowsiness is near the top of the list and listed as common.

Today he spoke with the psychiatrist that prescribed the Lexapro and that doctor said that it couldn't possibly be the Lexapro causing him to be tired and refused to lower the dose.

He insists that the fatigue is just because he's fat and he needs to lose weight. He gave him the number of a local doctor that supposedly provides GLP-1 medication for $100/month.

What do you all think? Is this just the doctor being honest or do you think this is fatphobia/gaslighting? Or a combination of both?

The doctor is right that my husband needs to lose weight but at the same time, he seems to be ignoring a common side effect of Lexapro.
