Need help with rehoming
My 5 months old female kitten lost her brother (they're been tgthr since birth, were a bonded pair couldn't stay 5 mins apart) last month...she was very largely affected at first (would refuse foodz excessive hiding, excessive sleeping) bt now it's been a month since then and she's doing a lot better and is back to being playful...BUT she has grown so much attached to us (me and my parents)
now the thing is we will have to rehome her... coz I'm going to clg this year and my parents are aged they cannot provide her the enriched life she needs.
so my plan was : Give her a male young kitty companion...they bond in few weeks..then both get rehomed as a bonded pair... they'll miss us ig bt at least my og kitty won't be alone.
so I adopted a new 2.5 months old male kitten today, took him to vet...he seemed weak honestly...gave him his first shot of vaccine.
bt he has eye infection, diarrhoea (loose stool+ was meowing in the litter box!!) and is sneezing... I'll take him to the vet TMRW bt I think that he has some viral infection (idk for sure)
if HE does have some problem, I'm sorry bt I'll have to return him (I'm not that rich rn to afford a treatment for him otherwise I would).
SO NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!
Should I just rehome my og kitty alone??!?
or should I try bringing in another kitten?!?
if yes then what age?! what gender?!
please help!!!
