38 [M4F] London, UK - an Irishman abroad
It was a perfect spring day here in London and here I am hiding away and writing a personal and on a bank holiday Monday on Reddit. In my defence, I'm very ginger so this approach to finding a partner is easier on my pasty Irish skin.
Late thirties, Irish guy living in the UK for the past couple of years after moving here from Sweden. I'm funny, tall, educated, have a successful professional career, clearly in very modest too and a real asset to any dinner party. I like to cook (let's swap recipes and pics of what we have made for dinner) discuss current affairs, my love of basketball, watching rugby even if my bones are now too old to play rugby. This year I hope to learn Swedish and run a marathon but may just settle for watching the Wire for the first time.
I've found myself at something of a loose end of late and it would be nice to have someone to while away and evening chatting with. I work in tech for a FAANG with demanding hours so it would be great if you could help keep me entertained log into the night. On the plus side I travel often with work and in N America quite a bit so if you're there, great!
I find all sorts of people exciting and engaging so no particular 'type' that I'm looking for beyond hoping you're 30+, have your shit together and in a time zone that allows us to get to know each other. I'm definitely less of a nerd than most people posting here, though I'll think it's cute if you are (you might have to convert me to the cause). Please don't be a crazy right wing person but I guess that's pretty unlikely here.
in terms of polyamory, I have plenty of experience (both positive and heartbreaking) but am currently single. Whilst I don't have a pressing need for multiple partners right now, I find my best relationships have come when my partner does. generally though, I'm pretty open and communicative and hope you are too. happy to discuss the finer details away from this terrible personal ad.
