Just diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. Questions and advice needed!

Hi! Im not sure how common it is to literally be beating your S/o in their sleep to the point of black eyes due to sleep apnea (i really don't think its JUST sleep apnea but i am hopeful a cpap will do something!!) but after a home sleep study, I've been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea and recommended to get a CPAP.

How loud are they? Should i immediately invest in something better/more quiet once symptoms have subsided? If they do? Im fine with white noise and so is my s/o but not sure how loud they actually are!

I am a stomach sleeper, can you sleep on your stomach with a mask on? Do they make certain masks that i guess would be more comfortable that way?

How do you find your settings? I've seen posts in here about finding the right settings for you if the dr got it wrong

How do i do that if my doctor hasn't responded yet?

Sorry, im so nervous, but SO excited to sleep in bed with my s/o again 😭😭😭 thank you in advance 😭❤️

What helps you? Im 32. And work at a wonder burrito boy ran coffee chain. I love my job, while i don't want to quit. This has DEFINITELY been a factor, along with my diet (we're working on the diet part) this is my first time addressing my chronic pain, and I'm in so much pain.

Right now im sparingly taking the 7 day dose (now going on 3 weeks) of muscle relaxers because it makes me loopy at work, and I'm genuinely afraid of looking like i am drug seeking to my dr despite her being wonderful (i don't want pain addictive meds if i can help it, just something to either relax the muscles, help the inflammation or both) that's stronger than the OTC naproxen im also adding in.

What should i buy for my home? What should i buy for my bed? Foam wedges? Lumbar support? Any holy grail items?

Im in so much pain i could cry, but i hold it in. My back locks when i get up from the toilet. Its embarrassing and painful and i just don't know what to do while i wait for my referral for PT and an MRI to be approved 😭

I have medical trauma so i already don't want to go to all these doctors but i know i have to 😭

I've never seen him so chipper 🤣🤣🤣

He got through his 3rd yearly exam with us! He's doing great, his training and muzzle work is going great. He lost 7lbs that was needed, he got a sani groom, mats removed, nail clips, a brush out, exam, bloodwork and urine sample all in one go 🥰 no cancerous tumors this time around and only concern is his dark pee (he oddly won't drink water unless we're in the room 🤣 we're pretty sure its just dehydration, which we can easily fix with wet food/added water to his kibble)

4 hours post visit he's so wobbly still, poor guy. BUT we're hopeful for next years exam to be less sedation drugs with the muzzle being on 🥰

Hi! I want to preface my situation:

32F, mentally ill, i take medication with already causes dry mouth (i use dry mouth lonsenges) and have bad oral care, rarely eat and when i do it's mostly sugar and i am someone who vapes. Prior dental trauma with two different practices.

HOWEVER with that being said, i have all my teeth. There are small signs of decay (to me, its probably worse)and signs of gingivitis. I brush my teeth maybe once a week. I just got the autobrush and i do like it! It's helping me brush more often.

Here's my questions for OTC treatment until i am able to face my fears and go see a dentist:

Are there OTC stronger toothpastes for something like this (i prefer kid flavors as mint will wake me up at night) and mouth rinse?

Should i be using a mouth rinse before or after brushing?

Is there a softer floss to floss with when my gums aren't feeling great?

Im in no pain currently, but trying ✨ really ✨ hard to take care of myself before i DO start having pain and discomfort. My gums DO bleed and did bleed before the autobrush for reference as well so i do know theres something going on.
