Got (somewhat expectedly) denied for transfer this fall. I'm considering applying for a spring transfer, but have some questions.
So, the main reason I think I was not accepted was because of my course work (Mech Engineering student, but only started Engineering courses this spring semester). My first semester was a giant mess of classes that I mostly did not need to do. I do have a 4.0, and should maintain that up to end of this fall semester. (I'm considering going from 2 summer classes to 3 to have a stronger application for the spring).
If I get in for spring 2027, I want to know how hard it will be to find a job (preferably on campus) and housing. Also, for anyone here who did transfer in the spring, was it hard to make friends in the middle of the academic year? I have heard the beginning of fall is when everyone is making friends, so I am also concerned about that.
