Recently bought this beautiful creature from my lfs. The lady told me it was a juvenile but she struggled to recall the exact type. I have a freshwater tank.

Can anyone tell me what to expect for overall size? What is the type of angelfish? Male/female?

Also, this is my first angelfish. It’s in my office. When I enter in the AM, it’s usually hanging mid tank vibing but then after feeding/as the day goes on it just hangs out at the top of the tank over by where I sit. Not struggling to breathe, not frantic or anything, just…. Chillin.

Is it watching me..? Is this normal? I don’t know what type of behaviors to expect lol

I’m still new-ish to tanks. I just completed a cycle and am alllllmost ready for a fishy.

I bought this plant and can’t remember what it’s called. I lost a lot of it due to imbalances during the cycling process but she’s still hanging on. Anyway, I’m going to tie down the rhizome to a rock this evening. My question is do I need to cut off the brown parts growing off or is that new growth?
