(Sorry this I my first post and prob last post but this was based off a dream I had an not sure if it breaks any rules sorry if it does this does contain imagery that can be kinda gorey so be careful ig it’s also pretty short imo and mb for the grammar and spelling)

Your a normal high school teacher packing up for the day as you hear some students talking you hear “yeah she was asking about stomach acid” and as you listen you realize she’s talking about her mother who as asking about biology you decide it’s not your problem and continue on. The next day she’s not at class and you get worried but then the game ends “the student died”. You restart despairingly trying to figure out what’s going on then you see her talking again same conversation, you walk up and warn her “please your going to die don’t go home” she laughs and walks away anyways you decide it’s time to be a hero and prepare yourself walking to her home, an old stairwell in the back of a supermarket freezer section, she’s homeless, you set up behind a shelf you grab a blanket and your trust pocket knife what could go wrong? Someone probably followed her home and killed her, sad and brutal. You’re starting to fall asleep and you hear a loud gasp you look up and see some black haze running toward the gasp you then hear a loud scream that gets cut off within a second… you stand up and scream “HEY STOP THAT” or something like that than before you know it a tall almost 10ft black creature is in front of you it’s not even normally tall it’s just got long appendages it’s got long dirty nails almost about a foot long a weirdly humanoid body and it’s face is so weird it’s got eyes that look like they are fully opened but they aren’t, it’s mouth is weirdly wide and bland it’s nose is weirdly dark the whole thing looks like it’s designed by some lovecraftian horror then it says “no.” Zero emotion zero thoughts as it jams its claws into your abdomen killing you. And the screen pops up again “reset or choose new character”, you choose a new character, the poor girl, and as you wake up from the floor you see your mom ever so polite as always she’s such a perfect mom she asks you in her signature crackly voice “How was biology yesterday? What new stuff did you learn?” almost creepy but you respond as usual “Not much we learned about that humans have acid in their stomachs to digest food” she keeps on asking you questions for what feels like hours until she finally says “Ok sweetie I love you have fun at school I can’t wait to see you come back!” Then you go to school you gossip about your mother to your only friend and she gets weirded out and finally it’s time to go back home you think “Damn school sucks 7 hours of my life for what actually it’s so useless” then you enter the supermarket and head to the back to go to your stairwell home. And there’s something weird there it looks like your mom but it’s not? It’s tall black and creepy you gasp. It heard that. It rushes to you inhumanly fast its stance is weird almost on all fours but it’s not using its hands it’s hunched down to be about human size and after what feels like a nanosecond of it running it stands up you flinch and it’s fully extended standing in front of you, you scream and it stabs into your stomach and upwards into your lungs so incredibly fast your scream cuts out and as it’s eating you, you think “Is this my mom? What is this thing?” And back to the black screen you keep replaying trying to save that girl but no matter what that thing keeps on winning. As you keep going you realize so much stuff for example, that thing, IS YOUR MOM. It’s been planing to eat you for so long and when it kills you it flinches like it had a connection, a cold blooded connection… every bit starts to make sense the teacher had no clue he was walking into his death he was just trying to help the student, the girls friend knew something was up but was too scared to help. And that thing? It knew from the start it knew what it was doing but yet it could have never guessed that teacher would have tried to help the teacher who saw the worst before he died, the monster throwing the girl like it was a useless piece of food, the ribcage of the girl being pulled up for easy eating. You know what happens every reset, it doesn’t it’s just a smart creature designed to be perfect for killing and blending in. It knows who you are…
