How can this be fixed?

Seeing a few roof supports split / damaged.
I'm preparing my 2 story home's exterior to repaint, with 2 coats of SW emerald.
3 sides of the house are LP smartside (T1-11 style), the front is LP lap siding.
Im trying to decide if a sprayer is worth it.
Im seeing the Graco x5 with powered roller combo on sale for 399 at home depot.
But im also seeing powered rollers available for less than 100.
My concern is getting into the deep grooves of the t1-11 siding.
is that not a big deal with the correct roller nap, or will I regret not getting a sprayer for these parts?
One of the two hose bibs in the front of our house has never worked.
I discovered that the cpvc line was completely broken inside the wall, right behind the hose bib.
you can see the other end of the line poking out here near the water heater.
The other half inch line coming out of the wall goes to the existing hose that works.
I want to get the hose bib working again.
I plan to run a PEX line all the way around the inside of the garage wall, pop it through the drywall and drop it to the existing spot where the hose bib was installed.
But what's the best way to connect it here?
Should I undo the brass fitting from the working hose line and Y it from there?
I'm getting ready to repaint my home's exterior with SW Emerald.
I want to be sure I get the siding in good shape before repainting.
The sides and rear of the house have T-111, LP smartside, I believe.
While the front has LP lap boards.
The home was built in 2000, and for all we know this could be the original paint. We've tested it and it's water / acrylic based.
The paint is not flaking or chipping away, other than small gouges where the siding has been impacted by something.
The T111 seems fine to me, aside from a few holes I need to patch.
However I'm unsure to what extent I should repair / replace on the front side of the house with the lap siding.
The caulked seams are failing, so at minimum I'll need to re-caulk all rhe joints. There are a few small gouges / chunks I need to repair.
I'm not noticing any bulging or soft spots, but the very bottom planks seem to have some separation on the underside edge.
How should I approach this?
Replace bottom One or two planks, re caulk everything, prime repaired areas, paint?
Or is there evidence more of it should be replaced?
And, since the old paint seems in decent shape, should I only need to prime repaired areas / new material?
